I remember I was using my ruler to solving math problems in the classroom. I was so tired that I decided to take a rest. At that time, I noticed a girl with blond hair who sat beside was playing a model of a farm. This model is so beautiful and so as the girl. So, I started to talk to her and she was glad to talk to me,too. I asked her where was this model from. She said it was from Spanish because her father was working in a factory in Spanish and this is a souvenir her father gave her when he came back. Then I asked her if she likes to collect souvenirs as well and she said yes without hesitation. Then, I took out a collection of coins of the republic of Singapore. I got it when I traveled to Singapore. Once I took it out, she seemed very interested in this. She asked me how I get it and I answered her. That day, we talked a lot about the souvenirs from different countries. We were so happy and I knew a lot of amazing things about souvenirs through the conversation. Since then, every time I got a new souvenir, I would tell her immediately and so did she. I knew so many things from her such as a blanket and a exquisite stamp from China, a glass pot from an island called Gozo and a carving of a woman's head. What's more, she gave me some chestnuts which were from China and I would never forget that flavor. It really widen my horizons. Also, I show her my collections such as a model of a native American canoe, a sculpture of a Peruvian, a sculpture of a Africa woman and a leather wallet from Mongolia. Gradually, we started dating and we found that we all like each other. Eventually, she became my girlfriend.
Now, in addition to attend school, me and my girlfriend like to travel around the world during the break and get sorts of souvenirs from each country. It is so happy to be with her and travel with her. Collecting souvenirs is really a fantastic thing in my life.
